To sleep alone

Caught not yet napping (Photo: Faye Sarras)
Tried where my fatigue lies
Uncombed in day‘s disorder
Later clawed the rooted soil
Mixed with evening dew.
Labour left me too extended
Caught not yet napping
From solitude soaked
In hours of sleep too few.
