War Pigs (after Black Sabbath)

Rich. old men rub their hands in glee
At the thought of the fortunes to be made,
As the young are sent off to die.
Raytheon and Lockheed send rainbow emblazoned
Weapons of terror and death –
Indeed, equality rules where death is concerned.
Pauper or king, gay or straight, old or young,
Death doesn’t care!
Death comes at the end of a bullet, missile or drone,
It doesn’t matter – the end result is the same.
The rich pay no heed,
And the young people bleed.
