Chaste and hardened seeds (Photo: Faye Sarras)

Shaped by ages‘ questions
Raging tempests parents seized
Trunks and limbs in morbid breeze
Against an impatient clouded sky
Bending, worried, waving gestures
Shake the chaste and hardened seeds
Unknowing why to future deeds.
