Reptilian Aloofness

The green shaman
speaks in tongues
of frogs and dragons

lick me where the cancer lies

it’s the same story
with algae and fungi

bacterial inclinations
to spoil the meat
the punch bowl
and the party
with a single sigh

and when your mood
has been disturbed
it’s known to all and sundry
