Divine altitudes

When the generous earth pushed
from its heart through the waves,
when the sea held its breath and its tears,
the mountain goddess whispered
her wishes so brave.
The universe’s wind swept her delicate hair.
She gathered those filigrane locks with flowers
and counted the petals for sublime hours.
