Just Enough
by Scott Thomas Outlar / February 12th, 2023
Those subtle moments
when a sudden sight, sound or smell
triggers an ancient memory –
there is a certain
vagueness to it all…
though it feels right, true, and good
at least
for a split second
while electricity
snaps through the synapses,
offering a brief respite…
and sometimes,
thank God,
it is enough.
