home decor
by Rob Plath / February 5th, 2023
i remember in kindergarten
spreading my fingers
& pressing my hand into
wet plaster of paris
& then later painting it
the hand bright blue
& the rest of the plate yellow
happily bringing it home
on the bus
& my mother hanging it up
while in other places
holes size of my father’s fists
decorated the sheetrock
