Soft Metallic Pastels
by Scott Thomas Outlar / July 17th, 2022
The butterflies have assumed control
and not a moment too soon, I’d say
Let the world be blessed with color
and take to flight in waking dreams
Something sweet is shifting into ascension
and its fragrance smells of your highest form
Senses off the charts under the sun
and a smile baked in the crust of emergent seasons
