It’s the
cliff
but not
the fall
it’s the
bull
but not
the horns
it’s a
rope
before
the noose
a rosary
without
the lord
the words
without
a tune
the stars
before
the sky
heaven
before
the war
earth
before
all the
wars to
end all
wars it
is you
and me
before
life and
work
suffering
and loss
love and
children
hope and
time
success and
disappointment
made this
thing that
we all call us.
