Satan, get thee
away from me
When the weight of the world
starts to fell a bit too gnarly
there is a switch
we can flip
that works far better
than nuclear annihilation
Let there be a mutual
and righteous understanding
between us at this point
in grokking the fact
that we are living in the age
of biological warfare
And, lo,
they did hit us with
a bastard of a sucker punch
and tried to run us down
while we were still
shocked and/or exhausted
but I don’t believe
these creatures fully grasp
what’s about to happen next
now that humanity has caught its breath
