Spring extending
by Faye Sarras and T P Wilkinson / May 1st, 2022
Covers my memories
Wind of March,
Winding through April
filled with sadness
winding in the wind.
Spring lingers
but I tear myself away.
That calico blouse
at the bottom of the wardrobe
shielded from the wind
covers my memories
passing through my fingers
lengthening slowly like June days.
