[Spiritual] Career Violence

‘The Streets Are Missing You’
she texted, with a wink emoji…
I sighed, and half-smiled
… I am about to EXPLODE!!!
But, I’m keeping it to myself
for the minute… I’m Refilling.
I can still feel the Dirty Gutter
swishing through my veins
… I was born of Alcoholism,
Criminality, Sleazy-Lowlife,
and [Spiritual] Career Violence.
My ‘Shadow Side’
stuck a sawn-off shotgun
to the head of my ‘Good Side’
and pulled the trigger, laughing,
way back in my adolescence.
Lust-coloured spectacles
and thieving, villainous fingers
… I do not just give-in
to ‘Impulsive Temptation’
I Stalk the fucking thing Down.
