Not only rivers

(Pearl of the South China Sea)

Macau at dusk

not only rivers
run to the sea
flowers exhale,
fish spawn,
and ants bear their loads.
Washed my eyes
once weary with tears,
through vibrant shutters,
Your sensitive lens,
Vision relieves
Where once were mere fears.
