Nearly Forgotten and/or Passed Over

Shell-shocked
and stunned silly
from every angle
of disinformation
spewed from intelligence agencies
across God’s green globe

and if a dash of truth
is sprinkled into the mix
once a year
by mistake
you might as well weep
with joy
for your birthday surprise

just don’t expect
batteries to be included
