Contemplative Walk

Footsteps move me forward
Sunlight through the trees inspires

Between the hills
Streams of thought flow swiftly and powerfully
The roar is deafening

Footsteps move me forward to a point
Where the stream slows and begins to meander
Inspiring memories and daydreams
Freed by the swift currents
To form and settle into mental pictures that also inspire

Footsteps move me forward
Existence is within the moment
A deep breath cleanses

The earth
The sky
The air around
The trees and all
We are one
