Of Social Network and Pasture
by Mihaela Melnic / June 13th, 2021
Maybe you know better than I
about transhumance, in theory or practice.
Jostled ahead, lured by greener pastures
firm ground under the feet
replaced by ether.
More tweets and howls and bleats
raise up from the old damn socials.
Too dark along this corridor
of ghosts in the machine
to be one in the barn…
I seek evolution but not through
transhumanism
although I’m a prisoner of the system
and bleeding my life away
in this slaughter-web-house
is all but wisdom.
My crime? Addiction.
Algo? A suffering.
Yet still I dance on this Greek rhythm.
