Safety Valves

Miracles dissolve
as each pressure point
relaxes unto oblivion

or at least
until
the ache subsides

Not to be offensive
but
your hysteria
hints
at fascistic urges

and it’d be
healthier
for us all
if you could keep
your panic
subdued

or at least
reserved
for moments
with the mirror
