Rodeo Redux

A bit of a
collapse
into the arms
of a starving
giant

A little time
out of power
has the beast
ravenous
upon return

There could not be
a more repugnant stench
emanating from the throne

A ruling class
hell-bent
on seizing
complete control
of society
at a scale
most people
simply don’t comprehend
if they’ve ever
even bothered
to consider it
at all

or seem to care

or have the attention
s    p    a    n

s    p    i     n
a cycle on the carousel

lick your kerosene
ignite
