Of Sacred Calves and Holy Cows

Tattletales and
snitches

Boot-lickers and
ass-kissers

bow down before the altar
of their idols

secretly longing
to rule the roost
all the while

but

the lust for power
will never quench
a tyrant’s thirst

for they sip
from poisoned wells
and reflect such filth
with every lip that puckers
