Habit-Forming
by Scott Thomas Outlar / January 17th, 2021
Pain is not an illusion
it serves an actual purpose
Isolates a problem
Then you either solve it
or suffer
Sometimes it takes
a little of the latter
before figuring out
the former
other times
a lot
Sometimes someone
might appear to be strutting
but really they’re just
hiding the hobble
of a torn groin
Have a bit of compassion
for the world,
would ya?
and some mercy
on yourself
