The Chamber Of Reflection (777)

… for the lady who lived, and labyrinth-built, within a small universe of numbers

That ‘Staircase’ does not lead ‘Nowhere’
… it does exactly the job intended.
You are free to walk away
from both ‘Experience’ and ‘Learning’
anytime that you choose to…
that doesn’t mean there’s not more Path.
Where some see only ‘Puzzles’
others see ‘Stepping Stones’ and ‘Doors’
… it doesn’t make sense (yet)
because you’re not looking at it properly,
you’ve still got your ‘Everyday Eyes’ in.
A ‘Clever Mind’ perceives
… whilst a ‘shallow one’ mocks,
it takes a fraction of the energy,
and, of course, you need have no talent.
To be ‘Misunderstood’ can often be
a ‘Gift’ as well as a ‘Curse’…
and sometimes a ‘Cloak’ to smile behind.
Follow the ‘Pattern’ and ‘Signs’ of Life
… hidden plainly in sight,
‘East’ led me nowhere for 13 Summers
… until realigning a Gateway to Special.
