How I knew I was mostly OK

Was because
I didn’t
have a
plan to
kill myself
my fantasy
wasn’t about
blood it
was just
the moment
when the
helicopter blades
stopped turning
the wound
vacs stopped
humming the
children stopped
it was
like the
all the
stop chirping
just before
the hurricane
