She sidestroked, often,
around the flowers
of cigarette burns…
saving vertical slashes
for a very different,
substantial… Release.
Clown-smudging
blood-red lipstick,
across an OCD face
… was a
WARNING SIGN
ignored,
consciously,
no matter the ‘Lies’
and ‘Excuses’
later uttered, insincerely.
A six-sided box,
lowered
into 6ft deep hole,
after Executing,
upon sixth Attempt,
she finally Succeeded
… accepting
Story’s End as… Escape.
