Beyond Simplicity

Dismantling loyalties
And attachments
To ideas
To find the candor
Buried in our privilege
A failure of vision
And compassion
Dismissive
And deconstructive
Emblazoned with hate
And false morality
Both wrong and right
In the illusions
Of our truth
