I want to cry
we’re not all like that
we don’t all want to destroy
the environment
we don’t all want to build
and wield
walls and weapons
we don’t all want to punish
anyone who differs
we don’t all want to withdraw
funding and support
from everything worthwhile
but the way things look
will anyone believe me?
