Gould’s Chair
by Paul Tristram / February 9th, 2020
It’s both remarkable,
and fascinating…
the absolute
‘Balance’
between Gould
seating himself upon
his father’s Chair,
and the Energy,
which this Act sends
up through his body
and out of his dancing fingers.
I, for one,
like his eccentricities,
I find his humming
quite a delight.
To witness a Master
at work
in such a weird
and wonderful
Environment…
subtracts nothing,
yet adds uniqueness,
and brings a Smile
to accompany Seriousness…
in quite an adoring way.
