Taking Apart Fragile Things

Oh my God, I think I just lost a tooth-filling,
with the tension of watching you do that, that…
impossible, surgically skilled, craftsman thingy…
I’m waiting for your dedicated head to explode
with all of that insane concentration.
Seriously, is this what you deem fun?
Because the strain is unbelievable,
that’s some peregrine falcon focus you’ve got there,
I can almost hear mirrors and wall tiles
crack and buckle all around you.
You’ve got all those scalpels lined up,
but you keep reaching for that old thing,
which looks like you picked it up
at a car boot sale, why is that, I’m curious?
Ok, alright, I’ll leave you in peace…
I’m just fascinated is all, this is all new to me,
I’ve never before witnessed someone
turn something so ‘Broken’ into a ‘Beautiful’ thing.
