Five senryu

Some who know the truth
won’t ask tomorrow’s questions
but only snicker
Calcification:
mind, blocked like stale arteries.
Inevitable?
Nuns with tommy guns
shoot platitudes at our ears,
force feed us with mush
Judges in courtrooms
blind as bats, dumb as doormats
make their fake justice
Purple mountains weep
for the majesty they’ve lost
but yearn to gain back
