Salmon Returning
by Robert Filos / April 21st, 2019
salmon melting
mimic the corium
sisters they swam
art imitating life
til death did them part
Warhol’s Fword lives
life imitating death
Keith’s smile
Patti’s laugh
a drop of hope
in the boiling oceans
beauty still remains
in people righteous
life imitating art
a tear for the dying
a hand for the hurting
painting colors
non-nuclear clean
water in blues
salmon returning
