True believers

Literal interpretation of scripture is etched in stone except
“Thou shall not kill
Thou shall not commit adultery
Thou shall not…”

Love thy neighbor.

The biblical contradictions allow believers to pick and choose
“Blessed are…” No, they are not!

True believers
Only believe god’s law
And there are gods enough to fit every believer’s interpretation
For the tree of ignorance is flourishing
While the tree of knowledge is a serpent’s sanctuary
