Rant, Rattle, and Rave
by Scott Thomas Outlar / August 12th, 2018
On a day such as this
the only thought
I can seem to focus on
is the simple fact
that life is a test
of Good vs. evil
in the end
so all the book-burning,
speech-suppressing, parasitic,
vampiric, control freak,
fascist, foot soldiers
of the devil
can burn eternal
for all I care
But a sense of love
taught me with laughter
that virtue signaling
with simple poems
is a sin unto itself
just the same
so please believe me
when I say
that I damn my own
weaknesses
of the flesh
to that same fire
before the grave
