A Wild Toast to Furious Change
by Eddie Awusi / August 12th, 2018
Unlike Rome, like home:
Mushrooms on agitated facets.
Beasts are awakened.
Claws of pent up doom are clutched.
Might has collapsed on mighty heads.
Murder’s knells are off safety line.
Unreasonable silence stalks the yards.
Fear has crept into the friar’s voice.
Angels Angelus is botched.
Streets are woven with wanton nightmares,
In a wild toast to furious change.
