The Spinners

You cannot escape The Spinners thread.
Trivial actions are irrelevant,
or help to give colour to thought,
gain wisdom and experience
(How do you know
what a nettle sting feels like
if you do not reach out and touch one?),
and help you orientate, realign
and shapeshift your consciousness…
up another ladder-rung or two.
Yet, the major, important moments,
be they gifts, tests, or obstacles,
are already awaiting
upon your chaotic path through life
at the moment of your birth.
Clairvoyantly, they are Beacons,
Lighthouses, Magnets…
and you will be drawn.
You cannot fight nor change ‘Fate’
you have freewill 99% of the time,
but even then you are often stepping
(Even in a roundabout way)
towards a predestined appointment
(If you will).
It is always better to flow down the rapids
than to struggle up against them…
if both the ‘Past’ and the ‘Present’
have led you towards that bottom river
then the ‘Future’ WILL find you down there.
The easier you learn to say ‘Goodbye’
to ‘Everyone’ and ‘Everything’
when and wherever relevance is lost,
the stronger you will become as a person.
All is fleeting, except your Soul,
and The Spinners web
at work beneath your ever wandering feet.
