Still They Flow
by Scott Thomas Outlar / December 11th, 2016
Who am I to weep
from a broken heart
while sirens scream
through the city
as they rush
to the rescue
of a tragedy
much greater than mine?
Who am I to cry
over a broken promise
while bombs drop
through the sky
as they fall
to explode
on a world
more mangled than I can comprehend?
