Plying the rivers of deceit

(All honourable schoolboys and girls)

A lie
is to burn the skin
with rain
calling it sun.
A lie
is to turn the sin
for gain
calling it fun.
A lie is
the help given
to the weak
in return
for favors mortal.
A liar
is one who takes
the truth contrite
fashioning
foolishness
with its might
to savour
ghoulishness
with delight.
