Harness The Trajectory

There is power in the momentum
if you glide the curve
around dizzying corners.
Smashing through
‘Against The Grain’ obstacles,
one arse cheek at a time.
The dips and downs
are merely speed-builds
and ‘Sleeping Policemen’
ramps to take off from.
Needle through the roller coaster,
skate the slippery slide
without trepidation or stutter.
Using instinct as balance,
gamble as fuel
and an unnerving courage
as a central, travelling, compass point.
Backbone as a rudder,
ingenuity as sails.
Never stop to take down
any opposition
for that would only slow you down.
And you’ve got success and winning
to be getting on with, boyo.
So let go of the past
and every useless echo in it…
the glorious finishing line is approaching fast.
