Your Mask Is Translucent

You mistake meanness for cleverness,
rudeness for coolness,
gossip and slander for ingenuity?
Your sycophantic circle means nothing
outside of your sycophantic circle.
Your unfaithfulness to the truth
speaks volumes about your shallowness.
Your distortion of the facts
gives everyone a peek hole into your soul.
Your mask is translucent,
like a toddler hiding behind a curtain
with its little itty bitty feet sticking out.
The throne of contempt you are chained to,
no one challenges because no one wants.
Nobody is jealous or envious of you,
your relationship with everyone
is completely one-sided upon that front.
