What is Bread?
by Oyin Oludipe / February 28th, 2016
What is bread?
What is bread for my people?
A distant shore,
A grandiose god
What is bread?
What is bread for my people?
A mocking horizon;
Passing apparition
What is bread?
Bread is a bygone story
And my people learn to tell it
With a beautiful cry
