Explaining Afghanistan to My 7 year old

If it
was a
nursery rhyme
I would
tell you
that I
was not
the egg
who had
a great
fall but
I was
one of
the kings
horses or
one of
the kings
men who
could not
put him
back together
again so
my eyes
were filled
with tears
and my
hands covered
in yolk
when I
came home
with egg
on my
face and
no country
to call
my own.
