Mortal Slumber

This resounds
reverberates
pronounced.

I had a murderous dream
full of tiny deaths
with tinges of deceit.
Schemes
along the coastline
burning sands
lacerating rocks
where children
swam with ease.
I woke three times
from violent
waves
and mortal scenes.
