The Blame Game

Don’t blame the Democrats
like an editorial in The Journal
or blame the Republicans
like a headline in The Times

Don’t blame big government
like a Tea Party candidate
or blame big business
like an elite and effete liberal

When all are part
of one and the same
beyond reform
and lost to redemption

Circling the drain
offensive to the eyes of decency
insensible of what awaits it
ball of corruption.
