Oh, Say, Can You See?

The government
claims the right to record
every telephone conversation,
every e-mail message,

and every website visit
by anyone at anytime
anywhere in the country;
and, in fact, does all those things.

And has made it a felony
for anyone to eavesdrop
one of its own telephone heehawings
or cyber communications.

Think about that
when the Superbowl’s coming on
and the announcer calls all to rise
for singing of the anthem.
