Thanks, Ron.
You have been tirelessly bringing the case of the Tamils to the world stage.

This conflict, one of the most complex and intractable one in the world, can be resolved not by the ineffective UN, but by journalists bringing it to the attention of a critical mass of world population.

Very informative article about the Tamil Diaspora at a time when the Tamil Diaspora is being hunted by the World Establishments particularly the Governments of Sri Lanka, India and the USA.
What is needed is a Global Body where all Tamils in the world can participate for the Liberation of Tamils and other oppressed Nations.
The structure of GTF permits the GTF being the nucleus of such a Global body though the present leadership may not see as such.
So let all Tamils and well wishers work towards that.

This is a good article for TGTE. But it is still only a concept but serves to serve the tamil cause which has been bludgeoned out of its home state by war crimes and worse by linguistic, race and religious fanatical majoritarian governments aided by the west and other counrries to suit their political global interests. Certainly not based on the UN Charter or on human rights as is being pretentiously mad out to attack Libya which has a better record than Sri Lanka. But it has oil!

To be realistic the TGTE has to be wary of fellow Tamils! How is Rajapakse ruling over the Tamils in the north and east? With the active help of paramilitary Tamil rebels after falling out with the Tamil Tigers! Little wonder Rajpakse has an easy ride with his ethnic army of occupation in a land laid bare and changing ethnic composition through ethnic cleansing. The TGTE could expose these hometruths to the world given their expertise and contacts. The Tamils face genocide, just like what became of the Veddahs. Does anyone raise the Veddah issue anymore? No. That is why TGTE could advance the idea of the Tamils' right to govern themselves under the UDHR through a UN referendum. 63 years of failed governance and bloodshed and worse are proof for the cause.

Why is the UNSG playing hide and seek with the Advisory Panel report? TGTE could help in this direction by advocating transparency.

Are you saying that the international community should not intervene in Libya and let Gaddhafi kill his own people in Benghazi?

like we allowed Rwanda, Darfur, Mullivaikkal in Sri Lanka.

Are you worried about 'sweet oil' or 'crude dictators'?

Thanks to Mr. Ron Ridenour for yet again for an excellent piece on how the Tamil diaspora is in mourning over the carnage which was unleashed on the Tamil minority by a genocidal regime.

However, the pictures of Mr. Ban ki Moon's double standard of releasing the advisory panel report and R2P the Benghazi civilians are not shown.

As a UN member nation, Sri Lanka condemns the airstrikes on Libya (for not allowing a bloodpath in Benghazi)

A small problem: all the arguments Mr Ridenour advances in favour of the Tamils justify the intervention in Libya. Thus, if he is right, those who criticise the Libya intervention are wrong and vice versa.
