Our masters are not only insatiably greedy, so these figures will be even more extreme in one, five or ten year’s time, but also they delight in bullying, dominating and terrorising those (the rest of humanity) that they see as insects. The religious and/or ideological conviction that one is a member of a Master Race of ‘Chosen’ people, ordained to rule over ‘human dust’, makes the cruelty the easier to practice and to enjoy to the fullest. Unfortunately the omnicidal drive of unrelenting, perpetual growth, has been revealed as it has crashed, headlong, into the ecological limitations of a finite planet. The masters have responded by buying time by financing the greatest anti-rational, anti-scientific fiasco in history, the denialist industry, that has fomented a moron’s crusade of the blissfully ignorant and intellectually insufficient right back to the days before The Enlightenment. They also, I strongly suspect, intend an ecological Armageddon to occur, probably simply out of spite at the poor unfortunates who will live when they have returned to physical non-existence, that so mirrors their spiritual death.
