What we are seeing now is the rise of real reactionaries, not conservatives in the true sense of the word.

I do not quite greasp what is going on psychologically. These people fear the end of white dominance and are also concerned that the economy is not performing as they want. They have lapsed into a survivor’s attitude, clinging to a conventional wisdom built on everything this good article deplores.

There is xenophobia, racism, imperialism, and, above all Social Darwinism. All were present in Germany in the 1930s.

They say they revere the constitution but embrace constitutional views that were decisively rejected at the time of the civil war. Some talk about taking up arms against the government and others try to get states to nullify federal laws.

This madness will not go away soon.

Fortunately, the Tea Baggers hate so many different “Others” that no single group is in any real danger.

I do not think that the onepercenters ever move right or left; they always think egzactly the same; leading us to hellish situations.

I do not read books any longer; so, i cannot say that every book writer in canada and us has not noticed this fact
But ever since the first one was written [the bible], things cldn’t have been worse.
Now, of course, it wldn’t be bad if onepercenters wld never ever change their minds [they certainly won't ever if left in peace or unmolested], but they also utterly control cia-fbi-p0lice-army-spies.
