>You then direct this against American Jewry as a whole, rather than the United States government<

You're making good progress, Jonas, for a 13 yr old:) But you need to go farther.

You're right up to a point, not every single US Jew supports every Isreali action. But ALL of Organized Jewry, aka "the Jewish Community" supports Zionism, even if a minority are critical of certain Isreali policies.

One needs to fully grasp the real character and the real scale of the pro-Isreal Fifth Column in the US, aka the Zionist Power Configuration.

"I am not, nor have I ever been" a Trotskyist; Lenni Brenner is however which detracts nothing from his superb and superbly focussed scholarly works, in particular his "Jews in America Today" which includes a roster of US Jewish Millio-, Billio-, and Trillionaires, none of whom have ever uttered a syllable conflicting with the Zionist Consensus, and nearly all make regular contributions to The Blue Box or another receptacle for donations to the current Number One Apartheid Regime.

Another great book is by Lee O'Brien, "American Jewish Organizations", Inst. for Pal Studies, avail from AET. Snapshot survey of ZPC overall structure, details on all major orgs.

Jeff Blankfort's list of Jewish/Zionist owners of Media.

Walt & Mearsheimer's book and subsequent articles.

James Petras' series of books dealing with the ZPC, Chomsky's erroneous analysis and related, beginning with "The Power of Israel in the United States", Clarity Press Atlanta; see also his webpage at www.petras.lahaine.org, where you can read all his articles free of charge.

For an even more comprehensive overview, see Joachim Martillo's "Judonia Rising" page online. Booklength, enough links to make it bookshelf length. And his blog, EAAZI.org.

But back to Black Liberation and BDS. I believe there exists a substantial substrate of Black opinion, both at the grassroots/on the corner/in the Yard level, and among activists & “ghetto intellectuals”, which takes a dim view of many Isreali policies, such as the attack on the Mavi Marmara, the Siege of Gaza, the aggression vs Lebanon, the Apartheid Wall and other segregationist policies, and the demand that the US execute or support a First Strike on Iran.

But, it seems to me, (?) few Blacks holding such a view connect these Isreali crimes with Obama, or with their local Democrat politicians, or with national-level “Black Leadership” like Bill Fletcher, Donna Brazile, or the NAACP.

I'm glad you got your remarks in before the comments closed. You nailed T42 simply nailed it.

Speaking of Fletcher you got his number all right. I wrote to him a scathing critique where he omitted Zionism. I was surprised he responded to me and he quite defensive. Later I looked up his background only to find he was affiliated with IPS the same organization that houses Phyllis Bennis.

So clearly your challenge to expose the whole rotten corrupted Black Leadership is also crucial task as well. And you are right that Obama and White Racism creates a "circle the wagon" mentality among Blacks. But that was part of the game by the Left to create vacuum for Obama to fill.

Excellent analysis!

So why is it that Ted Turner and Rupert Murdoch aren't Jews?

Hayate, it sounds like what you are against is some American Jews who support Israel and set up Zionist lobby organizations like AIPAC. You then direct this against American Jewry as a whole, rather than the United States government (much of which supports Israel), the only obstacle in preventing Israel from continuing its atrocities in Gaza and West Bank.

Just like Apartheid South Africa -- if the United States opposed it, the Zionist entity would lose its number one ally and be forced to either reconsider or stop altogether. Israel would lose all of its international credibility (it has lost much of it) and there would be no permanent member veto at the UN with issues relating to Israel/Palestine. The USA gives massive amounts of aid to Israel and propped up its military machine from its inception rather than opposing the land grab of Palestine from the start. Rather we've chosen the path that Reagan did with South Africa - tolerating a socially-backwards military state built on racism and fascism. Israel is a country with segregation, the draft, and among the many abuses heaped upon Palestinians, gentrification, siege of communities, poorer living conditions, and poverty. Americans, knowing their history (the Civil Rights Movement), should stand up to this.

"Israel (an appendage/puppet of the United States)"

Yes, dear, that's why the americans formed lobbies throughout israel to enforce their colonial status and have heavily infiltrated the israeli guv, infrastructure, court system, banking and economic institutions, media and myriads other important sectors with americanim (that's americanese for "helpers"), who must be Christian, btw. It's also why american leaders are always bragging in the media how they control israel and the israelis know it.

;D

This "israel is a colony of america" obfuscation actually has an important purpose in the defense of israel and zionism, and their neverending war crime. It takes the heat off israel, and zionists, and directs the energy towards israels colony, the usa. That lets israel off the hook to continue their criminality, unabated. Which is the point.
Apart from Hayate's unnecessary posts simply copying text from links (which aren't in themselves irrelevant, however) to external sites, there is a good point made in this discussion and in the article. Mahmoud Abbas' views are more in league with Washington's imperialism and Israel (an appendage/puppet of the United States) than that of the Palestinian people. Abbas' Fatah is not supported by the majority of Palestinians, who elected Hamas. My view is that his authoritarian and supports hierarchical control rather than sustainable coexistence, peace, equality and social justice for Palestinians and Israelis. His rule over the occupied Palestinian 'territories' will consolidate power in the hands of his governmental officials and 'leaders', with the same 'leadership' mentality that lacks freedom and contributes to lack of compassion and no ability to participate in politics. He seems to have money — more than the desire to have Palestinians control their own fate and that of their communities — in mind, and that isn't beneficial for Palestinians. That being said, the resistance he has put forward to the construction of settlements (as they are an obstruction to justice for Palestinians and Israelis) is admirable.

These 'talks' will probably go nowhere; like other previous attempts to engage between the two entities, it will simply be a discussion involving greedy politicians who do not care about the plight of the Palestinians enough to stand up to the people perpetrating the abuses taking place there (i.e. Israel). Resistance against Israel's oppression will not be put forward by Abbas; Erekat, who seems to be more concerned with Palestinians rather than profits, will be ignored while Israel continues settlement construction. Why isn't Israel speaking with Hamas? Is it not in "US Interests" enough (i.e., the oppressive monstrosity of the military-industrial complex) to actually try to establish peace AND justice by speaking with Hamas leaders? Israel's government has committed terrible abuses; if they are really willing to negotiate for peace and justice, they should speak with their s0-called 'enemies' Hamas, not Mahmoud Abbas, who would probably compromise at the expense of Palestinians.

There is hope, however; it is pleasing to me and very encouraging that some courageous people have decided to oppose Israel's atrocities even amidst "talks". Additionally, I suspect that Israel's abuses will be ignored in the talks and discussion of them will be overwhelmingly drowned out by vacuous talk of peace, which the Israelis seek to establish before assuring justice. That's always the wrong way to go about getting "peace".

Israeli Education Ministry Approves New 'whites-only' Settlement School

Thursday August 26, 2010 03:38 by IMEMC Staff

Several months ago, a religious school in the illegal Israeli settlement of Immanuel was criticized for segregating white Jewish students from non-white Jewish students in classes.

Originally, the school was fined for this policy of racial segregation, because the school was state funded. Now, the Israeli education ministry has agreed with the white parents' request to allow the school to continue with its racial discrimination under private funding.

There is no law preventing racial discrimination by private organizations, even schools, in Israel.

The Israeli court has interpreted these laws to also apply to illegal West bank settlements, like Immanuel, which are located in areas that are supposed to be under Palestinian control. The Palestinian Authority does not allow racial discrimination, but due to the Israeli military occupation of the Palestinian Territories, it has no authority over the area in question.

74 white girls who have been studying in a building next to the school will now be allowed to study in whites-only classrooms that are privately funded, as their parents claim they do not want their girls to study in racially-mixed classrooms.

‘Sinner’ singer given 39 lashes by rabbis

By JERUSALEM POST STAFF

27/08/2010

Punishment for performance in front of "mixed audience."

A singer who performed in front of a “mixed audience” of men and women was lashed 39 times to make him “repent,” after a ruling by a self-described rabbinic court on Wednesday.

Rabbi Amnon Yitzhak, founder of the Shofar organization aimed at bringing Jews “back to religion” (hazara betshuva), has made it his recent mission to fight against musical performances for both men and women.

His “judicial panel,” with Rabbi Ben Zion Mutsafi and another member, sentenced Erez Yechiel to 39 lashes in order to “rid him of his sins.”

In a video clip of the court posted on the Shofar Web site, Ben Zion said that those who make others sin (mahtiei rabim), such as artists who make men and women attend performances or dance together, have no place in the world to come.

He displayed a leather strip he said was made by his father from ass and bull skin, with which Yechiel was to have been whipped.

Yechiel, who said, “I accept upon myself the lashing for my sins,” was ordered to stand by a wooden poll with his head facing north (“from whence the evil inclination comes”), his hands tied with a azure-colored rope (“a symbol of mercy”), and served his “sentence.”

Abbas, Palestinians should die: Israeli rabbi

JERUSALEM | Sun Aug 29, 2010 12:47pm EDT

(excerpts)

"An influential Israeli rabbi has said God should strike the Palestinians and their leader with a plague, calling for their death in a fiery sermon before Middle East peace talks set to begin next week.

"Abu Mazen and all these evil people should perish from this earth," Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, spiritual head of the religious Shas party in Israel's government, said in a sermon late on Saturday, using Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's popular name.

"God should strike them and these Palestinians -- evil haters of Israel -- with a plague," the 89-year-old rabbi said in his weekly address to the faithful, excerpts of which were broadcast on Israeli radio on Sunday.

The Iraqi-born cleric has made similar remarks before, most notably in 2001, during a Palestinian uprising, when he called for Arabs' annihilation and said it was forbidden to be merciful to them.

Saeb Erekat, the chief Palestinian negotiator, said Yosef's latest comments were tantamount to calling for "genocide against Palestinians." The rabbi's remarks, he said, were "an insult to all our efforts to advance the negotiations process."

Of all the Zionazi rhetorical abominations, the one where they demand that the Palestinians 'cease incitement' always nauseates me the most. This arrogant demand, coming from arch-racists who never cease fomenting hatred of Palestinians, Arabs and Islam is truly sickening in its hypocrisy. Apparently the Chosen People are so deranged in their narcissistic lust for unstinting praise, that they even expect, and demand, it from people that they have barbarised, tortured, murdered, dispossessed and whose children they kill as a religious obligation. It is,of course, just another ritual humiliation that the overpowering and sadistic bullyboys relish inflicting on their victims, and the collaborationist sonderkommandoes of Fatah will probably be arm-twisted one day to accede to it. That is one of Hamas' great strengths-it refuses to grovel before the Master Race, unlike Western politicians.

In June 2010 – the Bipartisan Policy Center issued its fourth report on Islamic Republic. the report was authored by thre ‘Israel-Firsters’, former Senators Daniel Coats and Charles Robb, and retired General Charles Wald. The report suggested three options to deal with Tehran before it acquire the necessary nuclear capability to destroy Israel’s nuclear monopoly in the Middle East. The three options were; diplomacy, sanctions and a military attack. Since the first two options have failed to cow Islamic Republic, which has just commissioned its first nuclear power-generating reactor at Bushehr. The remaining third option carries some serious problem for Ben Obama’s ZOG administration. One of them is to assemble the ‘willing Arab partners’, like during the Iraqi invasion. The best to solve this problem, according to several neocon advisers – is to start another 3-party Israel-PA negotiation for the two-state solution.

The Middle East Quartet (the US, EU, UN and Russia) was more than glad to obliged the Zionist masters. After tightening some of Mahmoud Abbas’ screws by Washington - it announced that a meeting between Benti Netanyahu and Abbas will take place in Washington on September 2, 2010. Abbas agreed to attend without pre-conditions while Benti had his usual pre-conditions; Palestinian must recognize Israel as a Jewish state and the new Palestinian state would be ‘a demiltarized state’. The issue of the Natives’ return to their ancestral homes and the East Jerusalem as capital of the new Palestinian state – will remain in the cold storage until some future Israeli government decide to open the cold storage.

The reality on ‘Ground Zero’ is that there has been no changes in Israeli attitude towards governments in Gaza or the West bank – Therefore, the negotiations are nothing but another US-Israel charade to shore-up America’s failing image in Arab countries, some of which has started looking to Tehran for their security.

Prominent Palestinians have warned Abbas:

{The Obama administration is exerting intense pressure on Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas to move “sooner than later” to direct talks with Israel. The European Union is also pressing Abbas to do the same thing. Both the US and EU are considered chief bankrollers of the PA, which nearly completely depends on foreign aid for its financial and political survival.
The PA and Israel have been holding indirect “proximity” talks for several weeks. However, leaks suggest that very little progress — if any — has been made. This fact is frustrating the Palestinians and making them view with suspicion further talks, direct or indirect, in the absence of clear guarantees as to how the “endgame” would look like.
Moreover, Abbas, according to close and reliable sources in Ramallah, is becoming disillusioned with the entire peace process and believes that the international pressure exerted on him to switch to direct talks is only intended to give Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu more time to “create facts on the ground” — an allusion to building more Jewish colonies on the West Bank, especially in East Jerusalem.
Abbas is showing a modicum of resistance to American pressure. He told a meeting of Fatah’s Revolutionary Council in Ramallah this week that he wouldn’t accept direct talks unless certain conditions were met. These include a full settlement construction freeze, agreement on the demarcation of borders, and an Israeli pledge that negotiations must pick up where the two sides left off in talks during the tenure of the previous Israeli government.
Abbas repeatedly vowed to refrain from resuming talks with the Netanyahu government as long settlement expansion activities continued. However, the PA leader has frequently abandoned his conditions and returned to mostly pointless talks under pressure, mainly from Washington and its pro-US ally regimes, such as Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Hence, most observers in occupied Palestine suggest that Abbas’s reluctance to move to direct talks is only a tactical manoeuvre, since he can’t really say “No” to Washington, given his financial and political reliance on Israel’s guardian ally.

But Abbas has very few choices if any. He realises the risks inherent in placing all Palestinian eggs in the US basket. Yasser Arafat had tried to do just that and the result was a fiasco. Meanwhile, to mitigate pressure on his leadership, Abbas is trying to make the Arab world — especially Egypt and Saudi Arabia — virtual partners in any Palestinian decision pertaining to joining direct talks with Israel.}

Unfortunately, after Late Edward Said, few stooges are supporting Zionists/US Empire agenda for personal gain at the expense of the Palestinian people. One is Hussein Ibish who supports Salam Fayyad, Israel and US favorite, who thinks building ‘institutions’ in Palestine is essential, thus, according to Ibish, he is:

“emphasizing the importance of improved education in combating fanaticism, promoting culture, and developing analytical capabilities in Palestinian society.”

This means, most likely, teaching Palestinians about "Holocult", according to Roger Tucker, not to be engaged in ‘anti-Semitic’ rhetoric against ‘chosen people’. However, Ibish who supports Obama’s efforts regarding ‘the peace process’ where has done the most damage by buying time to create facts on the ground, in an article ”Israeli and Palestinian extremists are attempting to sabotage negotiations before they begin", at his site writes:

“Meanwhile, although with somewhat less impact, Palestinian extremists on both the left and right are doing their best to also sabotage the negotiations and raise the political cost to the PLO leadership as much as possible, in the hopes that it will ultimately prove unbearable. Hamas' rhetoric on the issue simply couldn't be more overwrought: they've called the talks “illegal” and said that they will “eliminate” the cause of Palestine. Left-wing factions in the PLO opposed to Fatah and Pres. Abbas tried to hold a well-publicized meeting in the West Bank to denounce the whole concept of the direct negotiations. Worse still, the meeting was broken up by thugs, apparently affiliated with Fatah, which will do nothing to enhance the reputation of Fatah, Abbas, or the PLO, no matter who was responsible for ordering it. It's an ugly throwback to the of authoritarianism of the Arafat era which many parts of the PA government have been moving beyond rather rapidly over the past couple of years.”
It seems to me he has not learned from the past, no wonder

this is a pretty good article IMO, quite accurate in its characterization of the players in the current production of world history's longest running charade.

There seems to be a little slippage in some places, talking about UN resolutions etc. I got the feeling the author might be cutting too much slack to the colonialist premises on which MSM discussion of I/P etc is based.
But he certainly did expose the perennial farce for what it is.
Of course I myself arrived at similar conclusions at some point in the nineties, before I got a computer and learned how to type. Yes, it's true; I probably tend to run on a lot, partly because I'm still amazed that I can type words onto the screen and have them appear in a form others can read. My handwriting is super-terrible, has been since first grade. but i digress. sorry:(

It is necessary that articles like this one continue to appear, as long as substantial sections of the "progressive" public are still buying into the "piece process" snowjob.

But for those of us who saw through the IOF/AIPAC full monty a long time ago, the question comes down to how are we ever going to derail ZPC occupation of the US Congress & Exec Branch. To answer that one, we need to be clear exactly what lies behind the current situation in which the PM of the zionist entity can openly mock the President of the United States and walk away giggling.

To answer that one, we need to be clear exactly what lies behind the current situation in which the PM of the zionist entity can openly mock the President of the United States and walk away giggling.
