Don,
Global warming is big lie. WH uses this as justification for eliminating ab 5bn earthpeople. The WH or the funni uncle are conditioning people to believe that the earth cannot feed 7 bn people; so, some must go.
Americans are now only wondering who must go. Some are already going: in afpak, labanon, yemen, iraq, iran, somalia and ab 45k sick americans who have no medical treatments die yearly!
Once we eliminate ab 6bn p., everything wld be ok.
But that means some rabbits will have to go also. Well, who cares! They look so damn stupid with their short hind legs and huge ears! tnx

Don,
let us [u and me] cheer up: all is not lost yet. How ab sanity? When-how-why we lost it? Provided we ever had it? I think we had it or s'mthing like that!
And another good news for us: we've squandered; oops, used only ab half of our inheritance.
So there is lot more out there. In any case, it is ours; i.e., our inheritance and not that of fish, bears, whales, spiders; let alone of snakes! tnx

http://www.truthout.org/how-bushs-doj-killed-a-criminal-probe-into-bp-that-threatened-net-top-officials59648

cost reduction ...

DOJ attorneys in Alaska decided the best course of action was to settle the case then and there. West said he continued to argue against the "rush to settle" and explained that he still had a large volume of evidence he hadn't yet reviewed. He said he needed at least another year.

"They said flatly 'no,'" West said. He then asked for six months and again was rebuffed.

"How about three more months?"

"No," he was told. "It's over."

West said he was pulled aside at the end of the meeting by Karen Loeffler, then the chief of the criminal division of the US attorney's office in Alaska.

"She told me that she was just following orders and that the decision to close the case and settle was made by Ron Tenpas," the assistant attorney general for Environment and Natural Resources at Main Justice, who was appointed to that position earlier in the year.

Tenpas, now in private practice at the law firm Morgan Lewis in Washington, DC, did not return calls or emails seeking comment.

Oh yes keeping it simple. Did anybody ever see the movie Changing Lanes

Don, isn't it laughable that the denialist liars andc retins, one surely as vicious and evil as humanity comes, the other knuckle-draggers of the Dunning-Kruger type, were shouting just weeks ago that the Arctic ice extent was the highest for years, but now, when the ice-cover is plummeting, they keep their lying traps shut. The fact that ice volume has been falling precipitously over recent years, being not useful to their lies, was, of course, ignored. We are dealing here with human wickedness so deep as to be scarcely comprehensible to non-psychopaths. But it's just another day in the office for the life-haters of the Right, who approve not only of killing Gazan, Iraqi, Afghan,Pakistani,Lebanese, and, soon they hope, Iranian, children, but of the end of humanity itself. Until we face the fact that Rightwingers are basically determined to destroy every, out of a deep, ingrained psychological predisposition that could be called omniphobia, the hatred of everything, and that we are in a war for human survival, a war of aggression launched by the Right, then we are doomed.

Today in the Senate they seem to be having a problem moving forward on a financial reform bill. I guess it will happen watered down of course special interest. Maybe a climate bill will come up cap and trade sort of a joke on the human race and even if we could tax carbon and tax it hard that would only be a start on the changes needed. So far none of that will happen zero and I have to admit I will like to see how those so called leaders handle the changes in just the next year from the planet Earth. Is there still time to slow this down yes not all the changes but with total focus maybe. Look's like with a new crack in the pipe in the Gulf a mile down around 100,000 barrels of oil a day into the waters. The big new's of the day of course is the elections yesterday oh yes very important indeed.
