Be careful though of calling Saakashvili a “dictator. Georgia is a member of the Council of Europe and is thus a party to the European Convention of Human Rights and subject to the compulsory jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights. His Israeli minders may have turned him into a fairly nasty piece of work, but a dictator he is not! Georgia would be suspended from the Council of Europe if that happened, as Greece and Turkey (several times!) have been in the past. By calling him a “dictator”, Mr Engdahl actually plays into the hands of the very people he is criticising.
