Melissa,
Elephants protect and teach all their young. And they have no money, prez, constitution, families, etc.
They are one big happy family. No elephant finishes last nor first in their schools.
How ab human 'schools'? Beware of that symbol under single quotes. Because that's where criminal minds are made!
Now that u have read Stewart Chase's book u know that words under single quotes indicate that symbol has fasle symbolic value and which is used in an elementalistic way.
And one cannot be more deluded than that if one evaluates the 'school' as school which is connected to eveything else! tnx

It seems the U.S. educational system has proven itself a failure. Decade after decade, reform after "reform". Some argue that more money is spent on education than ever before, while others argue that education has always been underfunded. But, in the end, we see the results.

It is easy to believe that Federal Gov and their commercial interests are holding society hostage, that they are in full control of benefits and punishments. Oh poor teachers, oh poor unions, oh poor school boards, oh poor adminstrators, oh poor parents, oh, oh, oh. As if no one has a choice . . .?

So what do people do? They continue to ask for more money to continue the crappy indoctrination and service training. They continue to praise education as the solution. They continue to send their children to these schools. And perhaps the lamest of all, they continue to pay dues and support unions that clearly are disconnected from the people (teachers, average folks) that they are supposed to be empowering.

So, what is wrong with people willfully bowing out of the system and inventing their own solutions? What is wrong with teachers getting out of the oppressive system that the local, state, fed govs, in negotiation (collusion?) with obese unions suffering from mission creep are hamstringing? Really, why encourage anything but jumping ship?

We can't possibly create a worthy educational system until we get the old one outta the way. If our citizenry continues to fight to save a destructive system, rather than turn away from it, we will continue to be disappointed. Duncan and Obama are doing favors for the corporate world, just as school districts and states have always taken the cue from their chambers of commerce and business tycoons. That won't change as long as fools supply them with children, money and support for back -stabbing unions.

Education's ills didn't begin with Reagan, or Bush, or Obama. They began when big money smelled the power of mandated schooling. Step up to the plate, people. Get those kids and the money outta the schools and we will find out where the real power resides. It only continues because we co-operate and compromise, whine and throw money at it.

I can't get behind any reform movement any longer, be that from the feds or from teachers and their mafia bosses. I hope to see parents return to parenting, which includes educating their own children. Maybe more time with a loving adult, less in institutions (from birth, ack!), produces finer minds and sturdier spirits. That's the pattern I see anyway.

This process is unfolding in the UK under Cameron and his fag. What still mystifies me is that the serfs are still so thoroughly brainwashed as not to be able to comprehend just how much the parasites hate them. That they sit back impotently,or even support, the psychopathic Right's destruction of their children's futures, their own descent into lower and lower paid jobs and the devastation of every social welfare program and public good gained over centuries of struggle, never ceases to amaze. No wonder the Right hates the Greeks so viscerally, and will extract a bitter vengeance for their display of resistance. The Right seems determined to erect not just a neo-feudal system, but one akin to that of the Indian caste system, with themselves as the Brahmins and the rest as 'untouchables'.

Even jesus run a school, but allowed only 12 students in his class. Jesus run the school and 'taught' his students. No woman had been allowed in his numerous classes. U want to know why, don'y u? I bet, u'r dying to find out! Because jesus called women "small heads"; that's why!
So no woman was left behind. It seems only yudah was left behind and in revenge told sanhedrin that jesus was a kommunist.

The problem with jesus' school is the same problem with schools in US: 'teachers' 'teach' but nobody taught them! [words in single quotes stand gor "socalled"]

So we have schools [square buidlings] full of dummies; all left behind! tnx
