sameb, said I agree with last comment, this video is wholly one sided. I fear that its dissemination would entice further hatred.
You don't understand this film is perfect for this site, don't you know only one side of any issue is allowed to be presented.

If you have a contary opinion to anything here they will delete your comment and use horrible comments about how you are a racist pig. However if you call someone crazy you will be banned for spreading hatred.

Mowrey is totally one-sided and unfair. He fails to mention the crimes of the Hamas terrorists who are running the show in Gaza: the firing of thousands of rockets , targetting Israel's civilian population, in the town of Sderot and elsewhere; using schools, mosques, UN facilities and residential areas as launching sites, thereby “inviting” retaliation, with the aim of increasing civilian casualties among their own people for propaganda purposes; using their own people as human shields; the summary execution of scores of Fatah activists; the abduction and subsequent cruel and illegal imprisonment of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.

Joe Mowrey deliberately forgets to mention the many thousands of rockets and mortars lauched against the Southern Israeli communities before and after the Israeli pull-out from Gaza in 2005, keeping them under continuous terror threat. He forgets the Hamas pratices to use the civilian population and infrastructures as shield and weapons depot. He forgets the unconciliatory attitude of the Islamist parties toward the peace process (read the Hamas Charter) This makes his documentary biased, unbalanced. Another one-sided contribution in the media offensive against Israel.

Article 1975 of The UN Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict Goldstone Report on Human Rights in Palestine to the international community:

Recommends that the States who are parties to the Geneva Conventions of 1949 should start criminal investigations in national courts, using universal jurisdiction, where there is sufficient evidence of the commission of grave breaches of the Geneva Conventions and where ever warranted following investigation, alleged perpetrators should be arrested and prosecuted in accordance with internationally recognized standards of justice.

AND that especially the Quartet, has the responsibility to ensure that respect for the rule of law, international law and human rights means for all sides in the conflict.

On February 3, 2010, The Independent reported that a high-ranking officer who served as a commander during Operation Cast Lead, admitted that Israel’s army went beyond its previous rules of engagement on the protection of civilian lives and “that he did not regard the longstanding principle of military conduct known as ‘means and intentions’– whereby a targeted suspect must have a weapon and show signs of intending to use it before being fired upon – as being applicable before calling in fire from drones and helicopters in Gaza last winter.”

In July 2009, 54 testimonies from Israeli soldiers regarding their experiences during Operation Cast Lead were published by the Israeli human rights group, Breaking the Silence, and exposed the gaps between the reports given by the army in January 2009 and “accepted practices; the destruction of hundreds of houses and mosques for no military purpose, the firing of phosphorous gas in the direction of populated areas, the killing of innocent victims with small arms, the destruction of private property, and most of all, a permissive atmosphere in the command structure that enabled soldiers to act without moral restrictions.”

Their testimonies illuminated that the soldiers were not given directives regarding the goal of the operation and, one soldier testified, "there was not much said about the issue of innocent civilians."

Many soldiers said that they fought without seeing "the enemy before their eyes."

Another said, "You feel like an infantile little kid with a magnifying glass looking at ants, burning them, a 20-year-old kid should not have to do these kinds of things to other people."

I am glad that the issue of Google's censorship of the Net was raised in the video.
They've been doing it at least since 2003, when news from the Iraqui resistance were being sanitized within a few days of having surfaced.
All people of conscience should avoid using Google or promoting it in any way, for the simple reason that it is a major obstacle to our hopes for a different, better world.
Alternatives? Of course there are. I am using Exalead right now, but I am open to any suggestion...

This is a critical must-see presentation for anyone who is unaware of what really happened during the Israeli bombardment of Gaza from 27 Decrmber. 08 to 19 January 2009, and it is equally important for those of us who are only too well aware, to make sure we will never forget.

The death and destruction brought to bear on the defenceless people of Gaza by Israeli forces during this time frame was horrific.

Mr. Lawson and Mr. Mowrey have combined their energies to produce an excellent,
hugely informative, and heartbreakingly honest piece of work that needs to be seen
by everyone.

I wish to thank Mr. Lawson and Mr. Mowrey for this most important presentation.
Their dedication to the truth is appreciated and applauded.

And thank you, Dissident Voice, for making it available on your excellent web site.

This documentary portrays, accurately, the criminal onslaught that Israeli armed forces inflicted on Gaza, early last year, which ravaged the territory and its 1.5 million population, who have been placed under a brutal siege for three years. This was after 60 years of dispossession and ethnic cleansing to which the majority of the population have been subjected to.

It is time that the world community conscience took note of that and acted accordingly.
